4. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
4.1 Cookie Banner
When you first visit basepop.app, you will see a cookie consent banner that allows you to accept or decline non-essential cookies. You can update your preferences at any time by clicking "Cookie settings" in the footer of the marketing site.
4.2 Browser Settings
You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies, or to be notified when a cookie is being set. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent the Service from functioning correctly.

4.3 Opting Out of PostHog Analytics
You can opt out of PostHog analytics tracking specifically by declining analytics cookies in our cookie banner. If you have already accepted and wish to opt out, update your preferences via "Cookie settings" in the footer.
5. Cookies We Do Not Use
For clarity, Basepop does not use:
Advertising or retargeting cookies.
Third-party social media tracking pixels (Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, etc.).
Cookies that track you across websites other than basepop.app and platform.basepop.app.
Fingerprinting or other persistent identification methods.
6. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add new features or third-party tools that use cookies. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes — for example, adding a new analytics provider — we will notify you via the cookie banner so you can review and update your preferences.
